Stand before the Keypad Station... Look for a green "READY" light.. IF you have a green ready light then press in your user code.. When the "RED" Armed light begins to flash and you hear the beeping sound exit the building.. You will have _______ seconds to leave.. When you reenter the building.. You will hear a steady tone sound coming from the Keypad Station. Go to the Keypad Station. You will have _______ seconds to, Press in your user code... The red Armed light should go out.. If the Red Armed light does not go out... Press the * key (lower left side) then reenter a correct user code... NOTE You can not arm the system without a GREEN READY light on the Keypad Station.. Any RED light on the left side of the keys will indicate a tripped or active sensor in that Zone of the security protection net.. Zone 1 =______________________________________________ Zone 2 =______________________________________________ Zone 3 =______________________________________________ Zone 4 =______________________________________________ Zone 5 =______________________________________________ Zone 6 =______________________________________________ If you have a RED light on one or more of the Zone indicators go to that area and check the sensor for possible problems.. Correct the problem if possible.. If not... You can BY-PASS the faulty zone by pressing the # key (lower right side) followed by the number of the zone in RED.. (you can repeat this for multi-zones) The faulty zone RED light should begin to blink after that which indicates that the zone has been bypassed.. (turned off) NOTE For any zone you BY-PASS you will not have any security protection from the alarm system... To return a zone to active status.. Press the # key (lower right) followed by the number 9 key.. You should note that the BY-PASSED zone RED light(s) now have either gone steady RED or gone out all together.. This indicates that the zone has returned to normal... (if the RED light is on that means the zone is still in a fault condition..) (if the RED light goes out that means the zone is now in a normal condition..) User Code Changes For Security reasons you should change you user code from time to time.. (some do this each month others only after an employee leaves) To change the user code on you Security system do the following... Press the number 9 key and hold it down till you hear a series of beeps.. (usually about 4 seconds) Next enter the master user code for your security system... (your master user code is ______________________) Next enter the number of the code location you wish to change.. (the system can have as many as 6 user codes) Number 1 = User # 1 = ___________________________ Master Number 2 = User # 2 = ___________________________ Number 3 = User # 3 = ___________________________ Number 4 = User # 4 = ___________________________ Number 5 = User # 5 = ___________________________ Number 6 = User # 6 = ___________________________ ((Take care if you change the master user code. Without this code you can not enter the system to change other user codes)) Now after entering the user number... Press the keys to enter the new user code numbers (you must use all 4 digits..) (they may repeat or all be the same) (But there must be 4 digits total) With the last digit the system will automatically return to the normal mode... To change another user code just repeat the sequence using another user number.. Special Key Fuctions ((Key 2)) press and hold key 2 till keypad beeps the following code identify the fault.. 01. zone 1 AC power failure. 02. zone 2 Low battery or blown fuse. 03. zone 3 Supervisory Trouble. 04. zone 4 Fail to Communicate. 05. zone 5 Memory Error. 06. zone 6 Missing keypad. 07. Alarm Chime On. 08. Ready Interior Off. 09. Armed Delay Off. ((Keys Features)) Press and hold the key to activate the feature.
